Our Story
One day, given the discomfort caused by conventional bras, I spoke to my mom who is a talented seamstress and suggested that she attempt to design a more comfortable bra alternative made of softer, higher-quality fabric, more meticulous designs and without the uncomfortable underwire.
The result, a beautiful and incredibly comfortable handcrafted product that we have been developing and improving with comfort and health in mind; this new product provided us with a liberating feeling of lightness and well-being that kept me and any relative, friend and new customer who tried our designs from ever, ever going back to using a conventional brassiere again.
A Healthy Alternative
We jokingly started calling them “Brahealers” due to the fact that eventually, the soreness and pressure that we used to feel around our breast disappeared. Our bras were liberating, comfortable and beautiful; they are designed to provide enough support to do the job, but with the benefits of highly elastic and comfortable materials that contribute to a perfect fit and most importantly, the healthy flow of fluids through the lymphatic channels.
Research carried out by various physicians and obtained through various sources, eventually led us to understand that the noticeable reduction in back, neck and breast pain/discomfort that our product offers, was due to the fact that our Brahealers allow the free flow of fluid through the lymphatic channels around our breast, which are usually constrained and blocked by conventional brassieres. This is of utmost importance to our health.
An unexpected perk came when after prolonged use, my sister and I also felt that our breasts had become perkier and firmer after using our beautiful Brahealers. A very lengthy 15 year scientific study carried out in France was published four years later in 2015 showing that constricting, conventional bras kept women’s breast from naturally keeping their elasticity and perkiness. Our Brahealers are designed to offer just enough support and elasticity which eliminates the issues mentioned in the study without having to go bra-less like the study suggested.

Shortly after wearing and enjoying the liberating feeling that our Brahealers gave us, we knew that it was a healthy alternative that needed to be offered to other women

Given our understanding of the mighty power of the subconscious mind, especially in young impressionable minds, our aim is to promote confidence in all women who are constantly surrounded by marketing that insinuates that they are not up to par with "the" concept of beauty, which in fact, is a very limiting, unhealthy and unrealistic model of beauty. Just like we don’t judge the beautiful colors and shapes in nature, we should embrace our diversity and beauty. We strive for overall health in body and mind.
I still remember the day when my mother came home feeling sad and upset after a job interview where the interviewer put her on the spot in front of other younger candidates in the waiting area by implying that she should have been taking care of her grandchildren instead; my embarrassed mother stepped out. Ever since that day, I promised myself that I was going to build a company that could provide work opportunities for single mothers and people seeking employment regardless of their looks or age.
